 This website is dedicated to help you learn how to use the tools and features in Desire2Learn (D2L), the primary learning management system adopted by faculty at American River College, Cosumnes River College, Folsom Lake College and Sacramento City College. D2L is a web-based learning management system designed to create a rich online learning environment for students. Instructors choose many of the tools that are used in D2L, so each course is unique in how content is presented and how the class uses the communication tools. D2L is best viewed using Firefox on either Windows or Macintosh computers. Take a few minutes to explore the information in this D2L Student Help site by using the links on the left side of the pages. Every page has important information and the name of the link is a clue to the information presented. You will see video tutorials throughout the site and there is a link to all of the video tutorials also on the left side of the pages. For students new to web-based learning, review the Free Sample Class information. This free class will introduce you to D2L and give you the experience you need to become successful in any of your online, hybrid, or web-enhanced classes.
